GEORGINA BEYER (Labour-Wairarapa): It is a privilege to speak in the second reading of this bill. When reading through the report of the Primary Production Committee, which addressed this bill, on getting to the committee membership, the name of a member of that committee—Gavan Herlihy—leapt out at me. It is a name that this House has not heard for some time. As I recall, Gavan Herlihy was a very good member. Unfortunately, he is the only member from that committee who is no longer in the Parliament, but that matters not.
