Wairarapa MP Georgina Beyer said today she will be hosting a series of meetings for Wairarapa residents in Dannevirke, Martinborough and Masterton to discuss the foreshore and seabeds.
"As a general seat MP I believe it is important for everyone to have their say and hear the Government's proposal on how to manage access to New Zealand's foreshores and seabeds," Ms Beyer said.
"To this end I have organised public meetings in both ends of the electorate."
The meetings are:
Dannevirke, Saturday, September 6, Barraud Way Centre, 3pm
Martinborough, Sunday, September 7, Town Hall, 3pm
Masterton, Monday, September 8, Town Hall, 7.30pm
Submission forms will be available at all three meetings.
